Weiss, Melvin of Chelsea and formerly of Medford on May 24 at the age of 82. Melvin was the devoted father of Barbara Weiss and Judith Weiss. He was the loving son of the late George and Mary Weiss. He was the dear brother of Rosalyn Epstein.
Melvin was the owner of the Alpine Box Company located in Everett, MA. He was a lifelong mason and a US Army Veteran who proudly served during the Korean War.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Wednesday, May 27 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Everett. Memorial observance at the home of Judith Weiss on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
