Constance (Cucurullo) Cappellucci passed away Saturday May 23rd 2015 at the Brooksby Village in Peabody surrounded by her loving children at the age of 91. She was the wife of the late Daniel L. Cappellucci with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.
Constance was born in Lawrence to the late Joseph and Lucia (Novello) Cucurullo. She was raised and educated in Lawrence before marrying Daniel Cappellucci and raising her own family in Medford. As a mother Connie flourished, providing her family with home cooked meals and freshly baked breads, cakes and pies. She tended to every need of her children becoming an expert seamstress, cook, baker and most of all mother. Later in life, her and Daniel moved to Melrose, where she would spend the next 27 years. For the past 9 years she has resided at Brooksby Village in Peabody where she thrived, making new friends and enjoying a game of cards.
Her love and skillful cooking, baking and sewing will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her children, Joanne Ventresco & her husband James, Anthony Cappellucci& his wife Bernice, Daniel Cappellucci Jr. & his wife Maureen, Mary-Ann Greaves & her husband Kenneth all of West Peabody. She was the loving sister of Ann Bucci of W. Peabody & the late Frank & Larry Cucurullo. Grandmother of 12 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by many neices & nephews. Funeral from the Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main St. Malden on Thursday May 28th at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10:00 AM Relatives & friends are invited to attend.
