Taylor, Helen Iris (Morrison), 77, passed away Thursday May 21, 2015 at her residence.
She was a native of Hammond, Indiana and was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center, with 22 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 42 years, Roy S. Taylor; and a son, Dempsey Taylor.
Survivors include her children, Deborah D. Taylor-Mayfield and Lois M. Taylor; 2 grandchildren, Bryan and Jacob Taylor; a great granddaughter, Tabbytha Taylor; and a brother, Roy Morrison.
Funeral service will be held Sunday 11:00 AM (EST) at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lamb, KY at 2:30 PM (EST).
Visitation will be Saturday 2:00 – 8:00 PM.
