Noelsina M. (Jean) Seme of Medford died on Tuesday, May 19, at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center. Born in Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Gracieuse (Pierre) Jean. After moving to the US in 1974, Noelsina settled in Medford, where she has lived for the past 30 years.

Noelsina was the beloved wife of the late Magny Seme, and the devoted mother of Ronald Seme and his late wife Claudette, Evelyne Milorin and her husband Henry, all of Medford, Jocelyne Seme of Malden, Marie Maude Seme of West Roxbury, Jean Robert Seme of Randolph, and the late Lesly Seme and his wife Yanick of Bedford. She was the loving grandmother of Reginald, Rodney, Mirlyne, Kathleen, Pascalie, Joanne, Ernst, Nabila, Cassandra and Nisa, and cherished sister of Lucienne Perpignan and her husband Ulrick of Stanford, CT, Marie Solanges Bernard and her late husband Louis of Somerville, and the late Christine, Therese, Juleinne and Constant. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held in the New Covenant Church, 527 Main St., Waltham, at 10 AM on Saturday, May 30. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Friday, May 29, from 4 through 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
