Josette B. (Kaladjian) Scapicchio of Boston’s North End passed away May 17 at home with her family after a lengthy illness. Born in France, she was the beloved wife of 56 years to James E. Scapicchio, loving mother of Maria Rose Cappucci and her husband Robert of Medford, loving grandmother of Robert M. Cappucci Jr. of Reading, James A. Cappucci of Somerville, and Victoria Josette Cappucci of Medford. Dear sister of DeDe Barsamian of Aix En Provence, Rojer Kaladjian and his wife Marie of Vienne, France and the late Marie Aharonian. Also survived by her in-laws Lydia Nuzzo and her husband Edward of Medford, Dorothy Scapicchio of Boston, Sammy Scapicchio of Boyton Beach, FL, Florence Scapicchio of Medford and Jack McCann of Tampa FL, many loving nieces, nephews, and her dear friend Daveen Balliro. Josette was a late member of St. Lucy’s Society of the North End.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Friday, May 22 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
