Margaret (Sampson) Fitzgerald, 80, of Kingston, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on May 16, 2015. Wife of the late Thomas Fitzgerald, and had a longtime relationship with the late Robert Sherlock. Beloved mother of Diane Bastianelli and her husband Ben of Pembroke, Thomas Fitzgerald and his wife Annemarie of Marshfield, Carol Kelley and her husband Ed of Kingston, and Susan Mooney and her husband Tim of Kingston. Sister to Joan, Barbara, Lawrence, William, and Fred, and the late Robert, Roy, Ronald, Nancy. Cherished grandmother of 13, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a former processor at Jordan Marsh Warehouse in Squanum, and also a member of Teamsters, Local 25.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 20th, from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 21st, at 10:00 AM at St. Theclas church in Pembroke. Interment will be at the Center cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pink Hearts Fund at www.pinkheartsfund.org.
