Paul Joseph Gendreau, age 86, of New Bedford, formerly of Fall River, passed away May 15, 2015. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Medeiros) Gendreau and the son of the late Delphis & Delia (Delisle) Gendreau. Prior to retiring, Paul worked as a Design Engineer for Haskon Co. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II, a former member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid Red Sox & Patriots fan. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Hope Hospice and especially to Stella Dias, his devoted caregiver.
He is survived by his sons: David Gendreau (wife Lynda) of Anaheim, CA and John Gendreau (wife Susan) of New Bedford and granddaughters: Emma and Nicole Gendreau. He was the brother of the late Sister Marie Therese, RJM & Therese G. (Gendreau) Cadrin Marchand. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River WEDNESDAY at 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 11 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours TUESDAY 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
