George Michael Geary, age 76 of Fall River, passed away May 14, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Bowers) Geary and the son of the late George and Anita (LeBlanc) Geary. Prior to retiring, Mike worked as a Truck Driver for over 15 years and he also worked at Citizens for Citizens for over 10 yrs. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, a parishioner of the former Notre Dame Church, now St. Bernadette’s Church, and a member of the Teamsters Union. He was the recently elected V.P. of the Corky Row Club, a Massachusetts Representative for the Council on Aging, a Project Director of Retired Senior Volunteer Program, a Board Member for the Disability Commission, and a member of the Knight of Columbus
In addition to his beloved wife, Mike is survived by his 2 devoted sons: Shawn Geary (wife Jeanne) of Somerset, MA and Eric Geary (wife Beverly) of Marion, MA; grandchildren: Kevin, Michael (wife Eboni), Eric (wife Allison), Nicholas (wife Chelsea), Cody (wife Veronica) Sarah, Shauna, & Rebecca; great grandchildren: C.J., Nevaeh, Samantha, Lily, Cayden, Nathan, & Austin; siblings: Raymond Geary of FL, Peter Geary & Ronald Geary of Somerset, and the late John Geary of Fall River; several nieces, nephews, cousins, & close friends.

His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on TUESDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernadette’s Church, Eastern Ave. at 10:00 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum.
