Power, Paul F. age 93 of Canton, formerly of Hyde Park, retired Deputy Superintendent, BPD and retired Chief of Security of Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, passed away peacefully May 14th at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Grace E. (Welch). Loving father of Paul “Dennis” Power and his wife Mariamercedes of Lompoc, CA, Leslie A. Byrnes and her husband Bill of Norton, Stephen F. Power and his wife Suzanne of N.C., Mark P. Power and his wife Margaret of Norfolk and Kevin T. Power BPD and his wife Jan of Westwood. Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Tuesday morning at 11:00. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Paul was a Coast Guard Veteran of WW II, a member of the Boston Police VFW Post 1018 in Dorchester, Mass Chief of Police Assn and the High Flyers at St. Pius X Church in Milton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Old Colony Hospice one Credit Union Way Randolph, MA 02368 or to the Canton Veteran’s Service Department 801 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021.
