Mrs. Alice T. (Dusseault) Beaulieu, of Taunton, died Saturday, May 9 in Morton Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Charles R. Beaulieu. She was born 84 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Rodolphe and Lydia (Courcy) Dusseault. She was educated in Taunton, having graduated from the former St. Mary’s High School, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State College, and her Master’s Degree from Suffolk University in Boston. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a teacher in the Taunton Public School System. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 2 sons: Thomas J. Beaulieu and Eric J. Beaulieu both of Taunton; 3 daughters: Marie Manning and her husband, Daniel of Braintree, Ellen M. Russell and her husband, Michael of Taunton, and Paula M. Karol of Edgartown; 2 brothers: Roland Dusseault and his wife, Carol of Taunton, and Richard Dusseault and his wife, Jean of Berkley; 2 sisters: Louise Dean of Taunton, and Jeanne Chase and her husband, Robert of Taunton; 7 grandchildren: Allyce Sullivan, Jeanine Bressette, Brian Manning, Jeanne Manning, Julieann Manning, Kevin Beaulieu and James Russell; 3 great grandchildren: Cayden, Liam and Eloise, and several nieces and nephews. Alice was also the sister of the late Colette Terpak and her husband, Thomas of Assonet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton Street, on Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
