Joseph “Cabby” Cabeceiras, age 92 of Fall River passed away May 11, 2015. He was the husband of Evelyn (Raposa) Cabeceiras and son of the late Joseph and Mary (Perry) Cabeceiras. Joseph had worked in construction and as a grounds keeper in the Fall River School Dept., was a WWII Army veteran, active union member and he enjoyed landscaping and taking trips.
Cabby was the father of Debbie Manchester and Nancy LaPointe of Fall River and brother of William Cabeceiras of Berkley, Dorothy Moreau of Swansea and May McNulty of Somerset. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River FRIDAY at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:30A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours THURSDAY 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com
