FALL RIVER…Ralph J. Williams, 72, of Swansea passed away Saturday, May 9th at Crawford Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was the beloved companion of Barbara Silvia of Fall River and husband of the late Doris (Arruda) Williams.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late James and Bertha (Dommes) Williams. He grew up in Westport and moved to Swansea in 1969.
Mr. Williams served in the United States Army and worked as a driver for New England Manheim in Dighton. He enjoyed going on trips to the casino, spending time with his “Honey Bee” and outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.
Along with his companion, survivors include several cousins. He was father of the late Ralph Williams, Jr.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, May 14th at 9 AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardner’s Neck Rd. Swansea. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 - 8 PM. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
