Kathleen M. (Driscoll) Grasso, a resident of Andover, MA passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Saturday morning, May 9th, 2015. She was 81 years old.
Born in Lawrence on February 20, 1934, she was the beloved daughter of the late John T. and Amelia K. Driscoll Landay. Kathleen was a Fashion Designer for many years and quite an artistic person. She could design and make anything for her own home as well as others. She enjoyed shopping and dancing, as well as sewing and making jewelry. Above all, she was a very devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-law: Karen G. and her husband Mark E. Courtney of Andover, Roberta E. and her husband Joseph M. Bowman of Andover and Gina C. Grasso-Berounsky and her husband Michael C. Berounsky of Rye, New Hampshire, brother-in-law Sam Cameron of Groveland, MA, her grandchildren Chris P. Courtney of Andover, MA, Patrick and his wife Dana Courtney of Andover, MA, Dereck, Nicholas, Scott and Grace Bowman, John and his wife Jessica Grasso, Justin and Giana Grasso, Gerald and Genna Grasso, great-granddaughter Camille Courtney and many nieces and nephews. She was also the loving mother of the late Gerald D. Grasso and sister of the late Nancy Bongiorno and Carol Cameron.
Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
