NEW BEDFORD… Jamie A. Eggleston, 58 of New Bedford passed away Sunday, May 3rd at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Born in Boston, he was a son of the late John and Gladys (Downey) Eggleston. He moved to New Bedford from Carver 11 years ago.
Mr. Eggleston will be remembered for being kind hearted and his love for animals of all kinds including his many pets. He enjoyed fishing and bike riding.
Survivors include 3 brothers; Davis Eggleston and his wife Georgia of Jacksonville, FL, Marshall Eggleston and his wife Noi of Plymouth & Michael Eggleston of New Bedford, a sister; Barbara Hall and her husband Frank of Weymouth, his brother-in-law John Kenwood, his nurse Noemi Collazo, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Janice Kenwood and uncle of the late Danielle Hall.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, May 12th at 7 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River. Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 - 7 PM prior to the service.
