Louis A. Walbourne of Medford died Wednesday, May 6, in Venice, Florida. Born and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late Leonard and Leena (Derosa) Walbourne. Louis was employed as an iron worker.

He was the beloved husband of Laurie (McGaffigan) Walbourne, and the loving father of Louis Walbourne Jr. of Manchester, NH, Michael Walbourne and his wife Lauren of Wakefield, Christina Walbourne of Medford, and Nicole Walbourne and her Fiance' Michael Bulowski of El Paso, TX. He was the loving step-father of Paul and Ryan Buchino, both of Medford, and the loving grandfather of Anthony, Aidan, Taylor and Adela. Louis was the cherished brother of Lenny Walbourne and his wife Loretta of Winthrop, Larry Walbourne and his wife Sally of Conway,SC, Leo Walbourne and wife Diane of Woburn, and late Leonora Lagrassa, and her husband James of East Boston. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours Monday, May 11, from 4 through 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Funeral on Tuesday, May 12, at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
