Preceded in death by wife Betty Elizabeth (nee Swantek); daughter Julie Elizabeth Johnson; mother Sarah Edison (nee Barrett) and sister Margaret Morrison. Survived by children Teri Remke (Andy), Geri Krey (Bill), Tim, Jim (Pat), Tom (Lisa) and Dan; son-in-law Trace Johnson; grandchildren Matt, Frankie, Adam, Danielle, Joe, Katy, Alec & Eli; 5 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Helen & Marlene; special friend Mary Singer and other relatives & friends. Jim was a WWII & Korean war veteran and was the founder of Edison Controls. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday (May 13) at 11:00 am at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret Street, North St. Paul. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 5-7:00 pm at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and one hour before the Mass at church on Wednesday. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
