Alice (Soares) Sullivan, age 78 of Fall River, passed away May 6, 2015. She was the widow of Charles Sullivan and daughter of the late Anthony and Deolinda (Leite) Soares. She was a retired compensation agent for the City of Fall River law department. She was a member of the Spindle City Investment Club and enjoyed reading, scrabble and time with her family.
Alice was the mother of Cherie Correia of Somerset, Cathy Mendonca of Groveland, MA and the late Edward Silvia Jr., Beverly and David Silvia; step mother of Suzanne Forster of Tucson, AZ. She was the sister of Evelyn Costa, Laura St. Pierre and Deolinda Corbet; grandmother of Jameson, Brandon and Edward Silvia, Allison and Joseph Correia, Shane Silvia, Adam Mendonca, Amanda Moraes, Mallory Silvia, Daniel Viveiros and Stephanie Mendonca. She also leaves 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River TUESDAY at 9:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
