Obituary

Gino J. Mucci, age 92, of Plymouth, formerly of Raynham, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.

Born in Boston on December 28, 1922, he was the son of the late Giuseppe & Antoinetta (DiGiovanni) Mucci. He grew up in Boston and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Gino was a professional accordionist alnd was a proud member of the Waltham #156 American Legion Band.

Gino was the beloved husband for 62 years to the late Amelia (DeGiorgio) Mucci; devoted father Joseph Mucci & his wife Jacqueline of Medford, Linda Mucci Wood of Kingston and Paula Tedesco & her husband Robert of Clermont, FL; loving grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 4; dear brother of Italina Steinmetz, Angelo Mucci, Camilla Mucci, Salvy Mucci, Natalie Mucci, Thelma Ferro, Joy King, Maryann Calnan, Carol Ferro and the late Anthony Mucci, Romanina Spacco and Jacqueline Mucci.

Visitation will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Monday, May 11, 2015, from 11:30 AM-12:45 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 12:45 PM.

Interment services with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, at 2:15 PM.
