LACONIA – Madeleine T. Caron, 85, of 305 Holman Street, died Friday, April 24, 2015 following a brief period of failing health.
She was born on December 23, 1929 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Ernest and Armande (LeBlanc) Tardif. Madeleine was a graduate of Laconia High School and Fisher College in Boston, MA. During the course of her career she was employed by the City of Laconia, Modern Appliance Center in Laconia and the State of New Hampshire, from which she retired in the late 1980’s. She loved gardening and was member of the Winnipesaukee Yacht Club.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas J. Caron of Laconia, one daughter, Lynda Caron of Exeter, one niece and three nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Tardif.
A Mass of Christian Burial was privately held at St. Andre Bessette Parish - St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia. Burial followed in the family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia.
