Anna Goralski, 91, of 104 Dawn Blvd., Woonsocket, RI died Saturday in RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of John A. Goralski Sr. They had been married for 72 years.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine (Jurkiewicz) Gudz. She had lived in Woonsocket for over 80 years.
Anna had worked with H. Brickle and Son, Inc. for 26 years before retiring in 1983.She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eastern Star and the Ladies’ Sodality of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Woonsocket.
Besides her husband, she leaves her sons, John A. Goralski, Jr., of Providence and Robert A. Goralski and his wife Lorrie of Smithfield, her grandchildren, Diane Goralski Giguere, Laura Goralski Cole, Alexandra and Andrew Goralski, and her great-grandchildren, Michael Giguere, Sadie & Sofie Cole
Her funeral will be held on Thursday May 7th at 8 AM from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 74 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be at the RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Wednesday May 6th 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 74 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket, RI 02895.
