New Bedford – Ramona Cabrera Malpica, age 76 of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Ignacia Malpica and the late Pedro Cabrera.
She was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and, after moving to this area, devoted her time to the upbringing of her family.
Her family includes 6 children: Sonia Negron, Jose Negron, Luz Negron, Ricardo Negron, Isaias Negron and the late Yanira Negron; as well as 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 7 siblings and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening in the funeral home from 5 – 8 P.M. Cremation will follow. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, Ma 02740.
