Laconia, NH-----Anita D. (Roy) Brazeau, 82, of Laconia, passed away at Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
Anita was born May 7, 1932 in Laconia, NH the daughter of Gedeon and Rose (Champagne) Roy.
Anita worked for many years at Grand Union Champagnes and was also employed by New England Telephone Company. She volunteered for St. Vincent De Paul Society. When Anita lived in Florida she worked for the Catholic Daughters of America and volunteered for the Salvation Army.
Anita enjoyed traveling with her cousin Claire to Florida, Disneyworld, Pennsylvania Amish Country, Hawaii, Ottawa tulip festival, (tulips were here favorite), Canada, St. Croix, Virgin Islands and numerous other places.
Anita enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She loved to shop and also loved to line dance. Anita lived eighteen years in Florida; she loved the ocean and just enjoyed life.
Survivors include her daughters; Deborah Auger, and her husband, Chris, Marlene Sage, Vicky Austin, and her husband, David; five grandchildren, Stephanie Barbour, Gary Morel, Daniel Morel, Nicole Boose and Natalie Kitching; six great grandchildren, Kyle, Kody, Khole, Hailey, Riley, and Gary, Jr.; two God children, David Chandronnait and Cynthia Heirneson; devoted cousin and best friend, Claire Morel, and her husband, Roger and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents Anita was predeceased by her sister, Irene Wiggin and by her brother-in-law Robert Wiggin and five infant great grandchildren.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10:00am - 11:00am at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House Entrance.
A Funeral Service also at the Funeral Home will follow the calling hour at 11:00am.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
