Hermeto Andrade (88) of Brockton died April 30th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton.
He was born in Conclho Fogo, Cape Verde son of the late Manuel Andrade and Isabel Pires Barbosa. Hermeto loved to listen to "Extreme" music and singing morna. He worked in the construction and farming industries while living in Cape Verde. Hermeto was known to be a very open family man.
Survivors include his son Andre Andrade of Fogo, Cape Verde, 6 daughters Celestina Resende of Brockton, Antonia Rodrigues of Brockton, Maria Rosano Andrade of Fogo, Cape Verde, Maria Andrade of Praia, Cape Verde, Mana Filipa DeAndrade of Brockton and Teodora Andrade of Boston, 2 brothers Albeito Andrade and Victor Andrade, many sisters which include Maria, Antonia and Claudinna, many grand and great grandchildren.
CHANGE OF CHURCH SITE Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel Saturday May 9th at 8 am followed by a Portuguese Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church Brockton at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Friday May 8th from 5-9 pm.
