NATICK: Dorothy Bradford Howland Hall, age 93, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday morning, April 30, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin G. Hall.
Born in Waltham, she was a daughter of Irving and Marjorie (Holmes) Howland. Dorothy was raised and educated in Boston, graduating with the Girls’ High School Class of 1939. It was later that year that she moved to Natick where she met Edwin. They married in July of 1944.
Dorothy was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Natick where she served on the Altar Guild for many years.
Predeceased by her son-in-law Kevin Daniels, she is survived by her son, David Hall and his wife Patricia of Natick; two daughters, Nancy Daniels of Natick, and Marcia Dunbar and her husband Edison of Bellingham; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren: Jennifer (Hall) McGill, her husband Ronald and their children Cameron and Connor of Natick; Stephen Hall, his wife Stephanie and their children Natalie and Lauren of Natick; Mark Daniels, his wife Diane and their children Samuel, Bennett, and Grayson of Grafton; Kimberley (Daniels) Simard, her husband Christopher and their children Morgan, Mitchell, and Jack of Whitinsville; Kyle Dunbar and his fiancée Pamela Sullivan of Auburn; and Keith Dunbar and his fiancée Melissa Zardeskas of Bellingham. Dorothy is also survived by her sister, Priscilla Bunker of Grand Rapids, MI; her brother, Gilbert Howland of Langhorne, PA; her sisters-in-law, Effie Hall of Nashua, NH, and Patricia Howland of Perth, Australia; and many nieces and nephews and their familes.
Her Memorial Service will be held in Christ Lutheran Church, 113 Union Street, Natick, on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private at a later date.
