Fairhaven – Mary Vaillancourt, age 99 formerly of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Alden Court Nursing Home. She was the widow of George Vaillancourt and the daughter of the late Maria (Madeira) and Manuel Almeida.
Mrs. Vaillancourt was a lifelong resident of this area and was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family.
Her family includes 2 children: Leta Phillips and her husband, James, of New Bedford, and Dennis G. Vaillancourt and his wife, Irene, of Florida; 2 grandchildren: Jeffrey Parker and his wife Sandra and Heather Parker; 2 great-grandchildren: Brandon Parker and Gavin Parker. She was also the sister of the late Hilda, Elsie, Frank Almeida and Manuel Almada.
Private arrangements were placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
