NATICK: Nancy A. (Antalek) Lienhard, age 54, a lifelong Natick resident and longtime Anton’s Cleaners employee, died on Monday morning, April 27, 2015, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She had been the beloved wife of Paul F. Lienhard for 35 years.
A 1980 Graduate of Natick High School, Nancy was a daughter of Bertold C. Antalek of Natick, and Deanna M. Waterman Antalek, who passed away last month. Nancy and Paul were married on July 15, 1980, and within a couple of years settled into a home of their own to raise their growing family.
Nancy had been employed with Anton’s Cleaners from the time she was 14, and for the past many years was the Manager of the Natick location. She loved her work and did not stop until her illness had progressed to beyond the point where most would have quit. Nancy enjoyed her home and gardening, sharing time with friends and family, especially on holidays, and trips to Sebago Lake. She read often, whether outside sitting in the sun or indoors on a cold winter’s day. She often walked to the common to join in with whatever event was taking place, and never outgrew the thrill of making snowmen and snow angels. Along with special time shared with her family, Nancy’s happiest times were going to music concerts with her sister Phyllis, girls’ weekends with her Lienhard sisters, and particularly the thrill of her first grandchild Patrick’s arrival in February.
In addition to Paul and her father, she is survived by her devoted family: daughter Jackie McCarthy and her husband Charles of Dedham; son Jimmy Lienhard of Framingham; grandson Patrick McCarthy; sister Phyllis Antalek of Natick; brother Richard Antalek and his wife Taryn of Douglas; and her much loved Lienhard Family and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Friday, May 1st at 12:00Noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
