Obituary

NATICK: Esther “Missy” Supple of Natick, died in her 96th year on Monday evening, April 27, 2015. Born December 26, 1919, Missy was the daughter of Anna Saller and Michael Makari. She was a longtime resident of Natick, and lived there until 2013, when she moved to Oak Knoll Health Care Center in Framingham.

Missy was born and raised in Sheridan, WY. She attended St. Mary’s College in Kansas and the University of Wyoming in Laramie. She left University to join the war effort in the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. In 1942 Missy met and married Edward A. “Ned” Supple, Jr., an officer in the U.S. Navy, and after the war they settled in Natick where they raised their five children. After Gerry her youngest started school, Missy returned to work as the Executive Assistant for Bill Limric of Limric Brothers prior to working with Les Madden of Lehrer and Madden. She later joined Supple Insurance and worked there into her 80’s.

Throughout her life Missy was a strong, beautiful, determined, courageous woman. She instilled an incredible work ethic in her family, which was coupled with a “never give up” attitude. She taught us there is always a solution, even if changing ourselves is the solution.

Predeceased by Ned in 1973, she is survived by their five children, Ann Clare Kessler and her husband Armin of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, Suzanne S. Miller of Ashland, Edward A. Supple III of Natick, Peter M. Supple of Shrewsbury, and Gerard R. Supple and his wife JoAnne of Ashland; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Nicole and Christopher Supple.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street, Natick, on Thursday, April 30th at 11:00A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston.

Missy was much loved and admired by her family and friends and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Supple Family Scholarship Fund at Marian High School, 273 Union Ave., Framingham, MA 01702.
