WINCHENDON – Dennis E. Jones, Sr., husband of Teresa E. (Safford) Jones of Winchendon, died at the home of his son in Templeton on April 25, 2015.
He was 60 years old.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Margaret (Hill) Jones.
Mr. Jones attended Taunton schools and later served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
A retired food service worker, he was employed by area school departments for many years.
He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he leave two sons, Dennis E. Jones, Jr. of Templeton and Roger Boivin of Gardner; three daughters, Dede Phatthammachack of Gardner, Donna Favreau of Lawrence and Tammy Linehan of 29 Palms, CA; two brothers, David Jones of Gardner and Robert Jones of Berkley; a sister, Barbara Jones of Taunton; two uncles, Herbert Jones of Raynham and Harold Jones of Rehoboth; fifteen grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held at the Silva funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, April 28th from 5 to 8 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
