New Bedford – Jeremy L. Moniz, age 27 of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of Maria (Rodrigues) and Alfredo Moniz.
Jeremy was a lifelong resident of this area and formerly worked as a laborer for a fiberglass company.
His family includes 2 siblings: Jessica L. Davignon and her husband, Kyle, of Maryland, and Jason L. Moniz, of New Bedford; 1 niece: Kylie R. Davignon; as well as several cousins.
His funeral will be Monday beginning in the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. with a service to take place at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours will take place in the funeral home on Sunday evening in the funeral home from 5 – 8 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford. In lieu of flowers donations to the family will be greatly appreciated.
