Ruth Ann “Ruthie” Howard, 69, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Friday, April 24, 2015 at Green Valley Care Center.
Born in Austin, Indiana Ruth was a homemaker, a member of Christian Assembly and Gospel Kingdom Church, where she was an usherette and an all around worker for both churches. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, for all the babies in her family and others as well.
Preceded in death by her parents, Hargis and Viola Howard; siblings, Irene Turpin and Matthew and Homer Howard.
Survivors include her siblings, Ella Jane Garrett (Charlie), Christine Outhout, David Howard (Juanita), Mary Jewell Dendekker (Jerry), Jesse Howard (Tammy) and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Monday, 2:00PM, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Beth Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
