Howard, Ralph W. died on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the age of 79.
He was born in Harlan, Kentucky and he was retired from Louisville Gas and Electric in the maintenance department. He was a Past Master of Okolona Masonic Lodge, #853 and a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Louisville. He was a member of Kosair Shrine Temple (past Master’s Club and High 12.) He was a member of The Aahmed Grotto and also a member of The Hillbilly Clan # 3.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Teri Schaefer, and his sister, Charlotte Zelek.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Scott) Howard, a daughter, Christy Kiper, step-children, Karen Dimler (Stan), Michael Sego, and Terri Hosbach (Luke.) One brother, Lynn Howard (Belva); and one sister, Yvonne Embry (Joe); also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 26, from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. and the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Masonic service and Rose Croix will be at 4:00 p.m.
