Obituary

Lucien “Big Lou” Arsenault, 81 of Londonderry, NH, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, after a period of declining health. He was born July 18, 1933, in Laconia, NH and was a son of the late Leo and Emma (Gagne) Arsenault, he was raised and educated in Laconia and had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 50 years.
Mr. Arsenault was a Korean War veteran of the US Army. After returning, he was employed for over 15 years with the Continental Can Co. of Derry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. He was a longtime member of the Halcyon Club of Derry.
Members of the family include his beloved wife of 15 years, Carol (Piekarski) Arsenault of Londonderry, 2 sons, Ted Arsenault and his family of Tennessee, and Tony Arsenault and his wife Deb of Manchester, and their three children, Jeff, David and Kristen Arsenault, 5 great grandchildren, a sister, Blanche Heney and her husband John of Laconia, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Dick and Don Arsenault.
There are no calling hours, after cremation, a graveside committal will be celebrated Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10:00 am, in the Chapel at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
