John Daniel
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, April 20, 2015, Mr. John O. Daniel, 66, husband to Carolyn E. Daniel.
Mr. Daniel was a native of Jacksonville, FL but has lived in Augusta for the last 25 years. He was a veteran who retired from the United States Army and also retired from the VA Medical Center. He was a member of West Acres Baptist Church. No matter the obstacle he faced he lived life to the fullest. He influenced not only his family but everyone he came in contact with. John brought life everywhere he went and showed the love of Christ to everyone.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughter: Heather Mobley; son: John O. Daniel, Jr.; bonus daughter: Jackie Omar and husband Robert; stepchildren: Julie Lewellen and husband Jim, Jamey Carey; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennett and Martha Daniel, daughter, Amy Daniel, and brother, Sammy Daniel.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at West Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
