William Hendry Thistle, Jr. (Bill), formerly of Malden, MA, at the age of 57 entered into eternal rest on April 14, 2015 in Bangor, ME. William was born on May 22, 1957 in Everett, MA. The son of the late William H. Thistle and Martha (Valpey) Thistle, William is survived by his two sisters, Barbara Tormondsen of Greenwich, CT and Patricia Verrier of Crofton, MD, as well as a niece, Erin Tormondsen, and three nephews: John Tormondsen, Jr., Matthew Verrier, and Christopher Verrier.
After service in the United States Navy, William worked for New England Nuclear Corporation, a subsidiary of Dupont, in Boston, MA.
A memorial service for William will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday April 25 at A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 365 Main St Malden MA. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
