Dorothy A. Lafrenaye, 79, of Woonsocket died Saturday April 11, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the loving wife of Roland E. Lafrenaye.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Mario and Antoinette (Marzini) Martinelli. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Lafrenaye was employed at Finklesteins in Woonsocket and Birch Hill in North Smithfield for many years before retiring.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons David Lafrenaye and his wife, Sue, and Roger Lafrenaye all of Woonsocket. She was the sister of the late Mario and George Martinelli, Jo-Ann Paone and Mary Bacon and sister-in-law of the late Lucien Lafrenaye. She is also survived her sister-in-law Alice Lafrenaye and 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home.
