Giuseppe A. Cicoria passed away peacefully after a period of declining health. He was 91. A native of Palazzo San Gervasio, Potenza, Italy, he was the son of the late Francesco and Domenica (Cancellara) Cicoria. He came to the United States in 1967 and eventually settled in Medford where he and his wife raised their son, Frank. Giuseppe worked hard to give the best that he could for his family. He owned and operated a construction company and his strong work ethic was only matched by his devotion to his family and friends.


The beloved husband of the late Yolanda M. (Savoia) Cicoria who passed away in 2000, he was a devoted father to Frank and his wife Paula A. (Ansaldi) of Medford. He was a loving grandfather to Joseph A. Cicoria of Medford. The dear brother of Clemente Cicoria and his wife Filomena of Italy and the late Angelina, Michael A. and Antonio Cicoria, he was a dear brother-in-law of Stella Cicoria and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday April 21st at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home on Monday, 4 – 8 PM.
