Edward E. “Eddie” Boysel, 75, of Fitzgerald, died Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Pruitt Health in Ocilla.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Boysel was born August 30, 1939, in Circleville, Ohio, to the late Virgil & Audrey Rohrer Boysel. He was a forklift driver for Deep South Products and Chek Beverages in Orlando, Florida and later in Fitzgerald. He moved to Fitzgerald in 1993 from Orlando. He attended St. Peters United Methodist Church.
He is survived by a son, Brian Boysel; a step-son, Kenneth W. & Anita Plaxico of Fitzgerald; a step-grandson, Mark Edward Plaxico of Orlando, Florida; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Boysel of Circleville, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Merle Brazel Boysel as well as several siblings.
The family suggests those desiring to send memorials may send them to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
