Michelle T. (Walsh) O'Connor, a 20 year resident of Ashland and formerly of Canton, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her home in Ashland after a brief battle with cancer. She was 47 years old.
Michelle was born in Boston on June 28, 1967, a daughter of James Walsh and Julianne (Dahill) Walsh. She grew up in Canton where she attended St. John's Parochial School and graduated from Fontbonne Academy in Milton in 1985. Michelle worked for IBM for 10 years, and previously worked for Informex in Westboro.
Michelle is the beloved wife of 13 years to Shawn O'Connor. She is the mother of the late James Walter O'Connor. She is the cherished daughter of James and Julianne Walsh of Falmouth and Naples, FL. Michelle is the dear sister of Kevin Walsh and his wife Sheila of Charlestown, and Brian Walsh and his wife Hannah of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by ten loving nieces and nephews, as well as, many dear relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michelle's Funeral on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury. Visiting hours will be on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
