Mary L. (Hanlon) Scafati, 89, formerly of Westwood, Dedham and Norwood died peacefully on Wednesday April 15, 2015 at Life Care Center of Attleboro, MA.
She was born in Norwood March 15, 1926 to the late Edward and Margaret (Fougere) Hanlon.
She was the beloved wife of the late Victor M. Scafati for over 60 years. She is survived by her sister Mildred Greenwood of Westwood, MA, as well as seven children; David, Mary, Janet, Stephen, Joanne, Judith, Laurie and 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 23rd at 10:00 A.M. in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High Street, Westwood, MA.
