Joan A. Roy, age 70, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2015. She was born in Fall River, but resided in both Westport and Fall River most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Charles Grillo and Ruth (Peterson) Souza.
Joan was also survived by her 3 daughters Renee (Roy) Raymondo and her husband David Raymondo of Fall River, Jeanine (Roy) Barone and her husband Gene Barone of Portsmouth, RI and Suzanne Roy of Westport, MA; her sister Maureen Couto of Fall River; grandchildren David Raymondo, Amanda Silva, Jaeley Barone and Brittany Roy; and great-grandchildren Amaya Silva, Lailah Silva and Mayleigh Grillo. Joan was also the sister of the late Eileen Sartini and John Pacheco.
