Obituary

Therese E. “Terry” Marquis, 84, of Woonsocket died Monday at The Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of the late Normand E. Marquis. Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Perron) St. Germain. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Marquis worked at Landmark Medical Center in the dietary department for over 20 years before retiring in 1991.
Terry was loved by all who knew her. She was a longtime active communicant of St. Joseph Parish. She was a member of the parish choir and the St. Joseph Senior citizens club. She also was an avid bowler.
Terry’s life revolved around her family.
She is survived by a son Richard M. Marquis and his wife, Barbara, of Woonsocket, three daughters Lorraine P. Pennington and her husband, Ronald, of Harrisville, Rachel S. Bibeault and her husband, Ernest, of Woonsocket and Lucille C. Servidio and her husband, Nicholas, of Holliston, MA. She was the sister of Joseph M. St. Germain of East Hartford, CT, Pauline Poirier of Lincoln and the late Normand A. St. Germain and Rita Reyna. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Saturday morning from 9:00-10:30 am, prior to Mass, in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
