Joaquim (Jack) dos Santos of Hudson, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday April 10, 2015 at Marlborough Hills Health Center.
Jack was born in Porta Nova, Campanario, in the island of Madeira Portugal.
Jack was a devoted family man who enjoyed working on his vegetable garden, caring for his fig trees, and fixing things. Jack’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and adoring his grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carmina Isabel dos Santos. His four children; Joe Santos and his wife Cheryl of Hudson, Chuck Santos and his wife Shelly of Westford, Vera Leoleis and her husband Christe of Marlborough, and Mark Santos and his wife Amy of Falmouth. Jack is also survived by his six grandchildren Erica, Tyler, Austin, Michael, Matthew, and Alison.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Michael’s Parish Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson on Friday April 17th at 9:00AM. Interment will follow at Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson. Visiting hours will be at the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson on Thursday, April 16th from 5-8PM.
