Obituary

Mr. Henry P. “Hank” Beaulieu, of Taunton, died Saturday, April 11 in Morton Hospital following a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Schindelwig) Beaulieu for 63 years. He was born 88 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Henry and Mary Rose (Proulx) Beaulieu. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, Henry had been employed as a Stationary Fireman for the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant for 34 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in Trinidad during World War II, and aboard the USS Beatty during the Korean War. Henry loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, watching the Patriots, reading and the outdoors. He was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Parish in Taunton.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 2 sons: Steven Beaulieu and his wife, Diana of Taunton, and Barry Beaulieu of Taunton; 2 daughters: Karen Beaulieu and her partner, Michelle Wheeler of Coral Gables, Fla., and Joan Bosh and her husband, Michael of Taunton; 1 brother: Paul Beaulieu and his wife, Joan of Ct.; 1 sister: Claire Hathaway of Taunton; 5 grandchildren: Matthew, Luke and Brett Beaulieu, David Bosh and his wife, Lisa, and Carly Bosh;1 great grandson: Alex Bosh, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Laurent Beaulieu of Florida.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, April 15 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
