Obituary

Augusta, GA – Mr. John Aaron Clements, 85, beloved husband of the late Mary Frances Clements, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Rev. Eddie West officiating. Interment to follow in West View Cemetery.

John Aaron Clements served in the U.S. Army for four years, and later in 1977 he co-founded C & C Automotive, a local family-owned auto repair facility. The team at C & C Automotive, which John has always considered his family as well, has been serving the Augusta community for nearly forty years now. A true family man, John has always been a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather to his family. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and the community.

Mr. Clements is survived by his children, Kathy Stuckey (Wally), Aaron Clements (Joye), and Velda Coleman (Robby); his grandchildren, Katelyn Wolf, Amanda Clements, Alyssa Hickman (Corey), Brad Clements, Stephanie Brazell (Chris), and Robby Coleman, Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Isabella Coleman, and Teagan Brazell; and also by his special Harley. Mr. Clements was preceded in death by his brother and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Corey Hickman, John Ryan Mooney, Robby Coleman, Sr., Robby Coleman, Jr., Chris Brazell, and Wally Stuckey. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of C & C Automotive.

If so desired memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 1384 Greene Street, Augusta, GA, 30901.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until service time.
