NATICK: Evelyn M. (Belrose) Johnson, 100 years of age, died peacefully and comfortably at her residence in Natick on Monday, April 6, 2015 following a year long battle with cancer.
She was born in Framingham on May 28, 1914 the daughter of the late Ludger Belrose and Ella (Powell) Belrose. She was the wife of the late Henry Johnson who died in September 1979.

Evelyn was the devoted and loving mother of Donald H. Johnson and his wife Leah Johnson of New Market, MD and Bruce K. Johnson and his wife Martha M. Johnson of Framingham. Beloved grandmother of Kimberlee Prendergast of Salem, NH; Greg Johnson and his wife Alexandra Johnson of Rancho Sante Fe, CA; Gary Johnson and his wife Kathy Johnson of Hudson; Todd Johnson and his wife Tammy Johnson of Hudson; Bruce D. Johnson and his wife Jacquie Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Brian Johnson and his wife Shari Johnson of Mt. Erie, MD. Cherished great-grandmother of Shawna, Kathleen, Lauren, Patrick, Logan, Charlotte, Ashley, Kaylee, Kelsey, Alexandra, Samantha, Calvin, Chelsea, Brooke, Shane, Tess and Kyle. Also survived by her niece Florence Limpert and her husband Robert Limpert of Edgewater, FL. Sister of the late Edna Belrose, Helen F. Merloni and Clarence Belrose.

Evelyn has resided in Natick for over 73 years and spent her earlier years in Ashland. Prior to her retirement, she was an inspector at the TRW Co., of Woburn . She and her husband were active members of the Assembly of God Church on Oak Street in Natick for many years before the church moved to Wayland. She enjoyed being with her family and creating memories for all to share.

Visitations will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Minerella of the Judah City Church of Marlborough officiating.
Interment will follow in the Johnson – Merloni family lot in Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.
