WEBSTER – Nellie L. (Kurowski) Kaczala, 91, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge. Her husband of 52 years, Theodore J. Kaczala, died in 2005.
She leaves a son, Gary P. Kaczala of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers Chester, Benjamin and John “Mickey” Kurowski and by a sister, Frances Larocque.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Alexander S. and Helen (Mroczek) Kurowski and lived here all her life. She attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Kaczala was an inspector at Anglo Fabrics Company and then at Ethan Allen Company before retiring in 1988.
She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica and a member of its Sacred Heart Society.
Funeral services were held privately. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements were under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
