Alice Tortorella, 98 of Medford, died peacefully Monday April 6, in the Bear Hill Nursing Center, Stoneham.

Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1997 and was formerly of the North End of Boston. Alice was the daughter of the late Virginia (Moschella) and Zaccaria Natale.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Tortorella. Devoted mother of Josephine “Jodi” Scola and her husband Paul of Reading and the late Ernestine Tortorella. Loving grandmother of Alycia Leofanti and her husband Paul, Michael Scola and his wife Amanda. Loving great grandmother of James, Matthew and Annah. Sister of Mary Viliott of Hudson, Albert Natale of Belmont and the late Helen Fanciullo, Adeline Richie, Lillian, Peter, Alfred, Vincent, Henry, Zachary and Ernest Natale.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4--8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
