Mrs. Suzanne May (Collins) Cleveland, a resident of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover and beloved wife of the late Byron R. Cleveland, Jr. passed away at her home on Monday afternoon, April 6, 2015. She was 80 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on May 1, 1934 and raised in Methuen, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph A. and Juliette (Lemoin) Collins. Mrs. Cleveland was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Tyngsboro and Lasalle College and had been employed as a Realtor for Kay Noyes Real Estate and also worked for Robert Lange Court Reporting in Boston. Suzanne was a communicant of St. Augustine Church in Andover. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening around her home, vacationing in the Islands and and was an avid Sailor. She will be dearly missed.
Suzanne is survived by her loving children; Leight A. Cleveland of Hampton, New Hampshire, Barbara J. Cleveland of Andover, Alison M. Cleveland of Hampton, New Hampshire and Byron Cleveland, III, of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, sisters; Mary Jane Joy of Sun City West, Arizona and Diane Whitfield of Hampton, New Hampshire, grandchildren; Byron R. Cleveland, IV, of Bradford and Mae-Li Cleveland of Hampton, New Hampshire. She was also the sister of the late Francis M. Collins.
Her Funeral will be celebrated in Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Friday, April 10, 2015, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
