DONOVAN, Maureen M. (Hickey), of Winthrop, formerly of Charlestown, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on April 6, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Brian W. Donovan. Devoted mother of Kevin T. Donovan and Matthew W. Donovan both of Winthrop. Cherished daughter of the late William J. and Catherine V. (McGaffigan) Hickey. Dear sister of Kay Fennell and her husband Richard of Winchester, William Hickey and his wife Roberta of Revere and the late Anne C. Hickey. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Fri, April 10, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Cremation to follow will be private. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thurs, from 4 to 8pm.
