David A. Modugno passed away on March 31, 2015. He was 80 years old.
David was a longtime resident of Medford. He was a United States Army Veteran and a longtime member of the Malden Veterans Homing Pigeon Club.
David was the devoted husband of 56 years to Vera (Manzi) Modugno. He was the beloved father of Brenda Rancatore and her husband James of Billerica, Janine Modugno of Stoneham, Stephen Modugno and his wife Deborah of Reading and the late David Modugno Jr. David was the brother of Claudia Heerter, Albert Modugno, and the late Leona McGreevey. He was the cherished grandfather of Erica, David III, Jenna, and Andrew, and great grandfather of Isabella. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday April 3rd at 10:30a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-10:30a.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers donations in David’s memory may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
